VolksWorld Show 2015 winners

The quality of the cars entering the halls at The VolksWorld Show never ceases to amaze us, and this year was no exception. Normally there will be several cars that stand out just that little bit more than the rest, which usually comes down to very small details, but this year all of the cars on display were built to an unprecedented standard. Have you ever seen so many VWs of this quality all under one roof? Probably not. This, of course, made the task of judging the cars that much harder and we would like to thank all of our judges for giving up their time to go around each and every one in meticulous detail.

To get our final list of winners we had to get pretty ruthless. Several of the cars had scored so highly and were neck and neck to the point we had to get the judges back out and re-check every detail on said vehicles so we could whittle down our winners to 20 cars.

The same then happened for Best of Show, with three cars in the running. Luckily, one was our very own Steve Gosling’s car. We have a golden at VolksWorld to never give the top award to one of our own so that made life a little easier as we only had to get the magnifying glass out on the two remaining candidates. In the end it came down to just a couple of points and we finally had our winner. Congratulations to Neil Ellis who owns the 1958 Cal look Ragtop.

The full list of winners is below and you can flick through the photos of each car in the gallery above. If you fancy seeing some photos of all the other cars, check out our VolksWorld Show 2015 photo gallery.
